Park Info
Lakes Entrance is a beautiful town situated where the Gippsland Lakes meet the Southern Ocean in Victoria. Despite its popularity as a holiday destination, Lakes Entrance retains a relaxed and tranquil quality, afforded by the many waterways, rivers, and local bird and wildlife.
At North Arm Tourist Park guests can stay close to the water’s edge at the North Arm of the Gippsland Lakes, with their own private jetty to use and within close proximity to the best the region has the offer, including fishing, surfing, swimming, boating, water-skiing and jet-skiing.
The park offers a range of cabin accommodation to suit families and groups of all sizes. Choose from either the deluxe cabin or the ensuite cabin, both of which sleep up to five people comfortably. All cabins have air conditioning, well-appointed kitchens, and electric blankets on the beds for the colder months. For the more budget conscious, the standard cabin is fitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay and sleeps up to three people.
If you have brought the caravan or camper, the powered sites are immaculate and spacious. All sites are grassed with mats, and some are even drive through or double length so you don’t have to unhitch the caravan. The owners are on site 24 hours and can even assist you parking your van.
All guests have use of the undercover camp kitchen complete with BBQs, as well as the solar heated swimming pool.
Lakes Entrance is famous for its fishing, and North Arm Tourist Park offers all kinds of facilities to make your fishing trip a success. In addition to a private jetty available for guests, there are fish cleaning and freezing facilities on site so you can prepare your catch to eat straight away or, if you’ve had a particularly successful day, store some for later.
If fishing isn’t your thing, the area offers beautiful walks, cycling trails and, of course, easy access to 90 mile beach and the lakes area itself. The town also has cafes and restaurants, many serving delicious local seafood, as well as historical sites and national parks so you won’t ever be short of something to do.
Next time you’re planning a relaxing holiday, put the North Arm Tourist Park at the top of your list. There aren’t many better places to enjoy fishing, a great beach, beautiful scenery and a total, immersive getaway experience.
